Reading is an important activity in developing creativity, social-emotional education or getting children to love books. Introduction to books must be done at home, of course, and then being a constant instructional activity inside the classroom.
Once the child understands the meaning of books and reading, they can start to make their own interpretation of those stories. This is a great time to let them grasp on book review.
Of course, this should be a fun exercise, so they can start answering questions about the book they read, retelling the story, drawing their favorite characters or scene.
They can do such activity after every book they read and complete a worksheet that can become a precious journal that kids can keep and reread over years.
